Starting July 22, Ukai-tei Kaohsiung introduces its new summer menu, inspired by the season’s finest flavours from Yokohama UKAI and thoughtfully paired with local Taiwanese ingredients.

This season, Ukai-tei Teppanyaki presents a dining experience that moves from refreshing chilled appetisers and charcoal-grilled dishes to delicate steamed creations and the captivating performance of teppanyaki.

Highlights include the delicate sweetness of grouper, the rich ocean flavours of spiny lobster prepared tableside, and comforting clay pot rice with sweet corn. Pingtung eel, maqaw and seasonal pickled vegetables further bring together Japanese summer dining traditions and the distinctive character of Taiwan.
